Mity Nice, at Water Tower Place, 835 N. Michigan Ave., sporting a new look and flavor with its revamped interior and new menu, will host a four-course gluten-free wine dinner with Master Sommelier Alpana Singh on Tuesday, April 12 at 6 p.m. “Gluten-free rock star” Executive Chef Larry Donahue presents a menu of your favorite modern comfort gluten-free dishes paired with select wines.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. with passed hors d’oeuvres of seared ahi tuna on rice crackers with tamari ginger glaze. At 6:30 p.m., guests will enjoy a stacked wedge salad with stilton blue cheese and pepper bacon followed by a choice of grilled filet mignon or herb crusted halibut with whipped yukon gold potatoes, roasted asparagus and grilled portobellos. And, last but not least, mini cheese cakes with raspberry coulis will be served! Each course will be paired with the perfect wine.
